The school year has finally started and I am loving my new group of littles! This year is going to be FABULOUS! I have another blog post dedicated to our first week fun, so today will be all classroom pictures.
Setting up a classroom and adding your own teacher “flair” is my most favorite part of the new year. Who doesn’t love spending hours on Pinterest collecting ideas of gorgeous classrooms all over?!
Here’s a little sneak peek at my beach themed classroom…welcome!
I am SO lucky to be at a school where door decor is allowed…I I think!
Here is the view from the back of my classroom!
Sit Spots! Aren’t the little palm trees so darn cute?!
My teacher desk!
My writing wall!
Our CRAFT board (idea from Ladybug’s Teacher Files)
One of my favorite boards…our birthday wall!
It wouldn’t feel beachy enough without a few raffia hula skirts to decorate my teacher desk and tables!
Our classroom jobs and my little palm tree
Centers are a HUGE part of our ELA and Math instruction time. Here’s how I keep every group on task and organized using this rotation board and labeled plastic tubs for each center!
Loving Ladybugs Teacher File’s adorable alphabet!
My classroom didn’t have any shelving or storage besides our large cabinets in the back of the room. So, I commissioned Mr. Rossi to build some easy-peasy shelves from Ikea to give me access to my files whenever I needed them! There you have it! I can’t wait to fill all those walls and showcase my student’s work throughout the year! What kind of theme do you have in your classroom?
You room is amazing! I love the theme and the palm trees! I would love to do a bright room like this! Thanks for sharing your room!
All the heart eyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How cute are your sit spots and palm trees….and desk! I love how you tied it all together. Super cute!

Where did you find the lime and aqua plea dot paper/fabric? The one behind your shelves? I have been thinking of a beach theme next year in my new classroom. I already do the bright colors every year.
Hi Malia! I found it at JoAnnes! :)
I love your classroom! Where did you get your banners, birthday labels, and library labels form?
Where did you get all your plastic colorful containers?
