Educational Websites and Resources to Use at Home

With schools closing all over Southern California (and across the world), I wanted to share with you some great educational websites and tools you can send home with your students. This way, you can set up distance learning for your class (if possible). I know that this is not a complete replacement for learning in schools, and that some student populations won’t have access to digital devices, but this is something you can share with those who can use it. :)

One awesome teacher tip!! Google Hangouts Meet is also free to anyone who uses G Suite. You can have 200+ people on a Hangouts call, so that you can lead a virtual classroom lesson or classroom discussion. You can even record the session and save them to your Google Drive. That way students and families will able to access the content at a later time if needed.

And if your students won’t be able to have any access to devices, below I’ve linked some good old paper/pencil activities they can use with some reading books of their choice.
