I’m back this month to talk all things HOLIDAY. December is finally here and I can’t wait to start all these ideas with my students and families this month!
I always look forward to this adorable craft from A Year of Many Firsts. My kids loved making these last week. We also write winter poems to go along with this craft. Easy and SUPER cute!
I always have some sort of door decoration that ties into the winter season! Here is one of my favorites below!
Last year, my students wanted a hot cocoa bar as their winter party. They each had a personalized mason jar with a cute straw and candy cane stirrer. They got to pick and choose which toppings they wanted for their hot cocoa. Here are some of the pictures below!
I also had some fun snowman cups filled with popcorn for them. They loved it!
My classroom volunteers always get a little thank you gift from me. Sometimes it’s a personalized notepad, other times it’s these mason jar treats! You can learn how to make them by clicking HERE for the tutorial or by clicking the image below.
Another gift I like to have the kids make and send home for all their families, is this snowman ornament!
I just order plain white plastic ornaments from Amazon and have the kids paint them as a winter center. We wrap them up in tissue paper and parent gifts are finished. Quick and easy!
I also make little gift bags for students.
I love GoNoodle’s stickers and pencils. I add a cute little cootie catcher with winter jokes along with the GoNoodle swag. And there you have easy-peasy students gifts!
What are some of your favorite activities or traditions? Please share them in my comments below!
The catching snowflake craft is adorable! I am going to do it for the first time next week and can’t wait. I love your snowman popcorn cups too. Adorable!
Thanks, Jaime! :)
