Here’s how a scoot works…have students “scoot” around the room with a clipboard. They pick a card and solve the math problem, then they record their answers on the response sheet. Easy and fun!

Scoots are a great way to review concepts throughout a math unit or even as a mini assessment to see what students need more reinforcement or practice with that skill.
